Welcome to 6th Grade!

My name is Jake Lewis and I am stoked to be YOUR teacher and a member of the J. Larry Newton family! I am looking forward to a year full of fun as we learn and grow together.

I am married to my awesome wife, Mecala, and have a daughter, Lorelai, that just turned one! We also have two dogs, an English Bulldog named Tyson and a Bullmastiff named Tank! I graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL (Go Jags!) with a degree in Elementary Education and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama.

I hope you are as excited for sixth grade as I am! This is going to be a great year!
